Product Overview
ADUM261N0BRIZ-RL is a 5.0kV RMS, 6-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technology, this isolation component provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler device and other integrated coupler. The maximum propagation delay is 13ns with a pulse width distortion of less than 4.5ns at 5V operation. Channel to channel matching of propagation delay is tight at 4.0ns maximum. It operates with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 1.7V to 5.5V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. Application includes general-purpose multichannel isolation SPI/data converter isolation, industrial field bus isolation.

- Low fail safe output state, high common-mode transient immunity: 100kV/µs typical
- High robustness to radiated and conducted noise
- Propagation delay is 7.2ns steep (50% input to 50% output, 5V, TA = 25°C)
- Data rate is 150Mbps max (within PWD limit, TA = 25°C, 5V)
- UL recognition: 5000V rms for 1 minute per UL 1577, CSA component acceptance notice 5A
- VDE certificate of conformity, DIN V VDE V 0884-11:2017-01, VIORM = 849V peak
- CQC certification per GB4943.1-2011, Jitter is 490ps p-p typical at (5V operation, TA = 25°C)
- Low dynamic power consumption, 1.8V to 5V level translation
- 16 lead SOIC-IC package, temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
