Product Overview
ADL5542 is a broadband 20dB linear amplifier that operates at frequencies upto 6GHz. This device can be used in a wide variety of CATV, cellular, and instrumentation equipment. It provides a gain of 20dB that is stable over frequency, temperature, power supply, and from device to device. The device is internally matched to 50 ohm with an input return loss of 10dB or better, upto 6GHz. Only input/output ac coupling capacitors, power supply decoupling capacitors, and an external inductor are required for operation.

- Output third-order intercept is 46dBm typ at (Δf = 1MHz, output power (POUT) = 3dBm per tone)
- Output third-order intercept is 40dBm typ at (Δf = 1MHz, output power (POUT) = 0dBm per tone )
- Output 1dB compression is 20.6dB typ at (VPOS = 5V and TA = 25°C)
- Noise figure is 3dB typ at (VPOS = 5V and TA = 25°C)
- Single 5V power supply
- Supply current is 93mA typ at (VPOS = 5V and TA = 25°C)
- Power dissipation is 0.5W typ at (VPOS = 5V)
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C
- Package style is 8-lead LFCSP-WD
