Product Overview
ADIS16507-1BMLZ is a precision miniature microelectromechanical system inertial measurement unit that includes a triaxial gyroscope and a triaxial accelerometer. Each inertial sensor in the ADIS16507 combines signal conditioning that optimizes dynamic performance. Factory calibration characterizes each sensor for sensitivity, bias, alignment, linear acceleration, and point of percussion. As a result, each sensor has dynamic compensation formulas that provide accurate sensor measurements over a broad set of conditions. It offers a simplified, cost-effective method for integrating accurate, multiaxis inertial sensing into industrial systems, especially when compared with the complexity and investment associated with discrete designs. Applications include navigation, stabilization, and instrumentation for unmanned and autonomous vehicles, smart agriculture and construction machinery, factory/industrial automation, robotics, virtual/augmented reality, and the internet of moving things.
- Dynamic range is ±125°/sec min (TC = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V)
- In-run bias stability is 2.3°/hr typ (1 σ, y-axis, TC = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V)
- Angular random walk is 0.13°/√hr typ (x-axis and y-axis, 1 σ, TC = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V)
- Misalignment error is ±0.25Degrees typ (-40°C ≤ TC ≤ +85°C, 1 σ, TC = 25°C)
- Triaxial, delta angle and delta velocity outputs
- Factory calibrated sensitivity, bias, and axial alignment, on demand self-test of flash memory
- SPI compatible data communications, programmable operation and control
- Automatic and manual bias correction controls, data ready indicator for synchronous data acquisition
- External sync modes: direct, scaled, and output, on demand self-test of inertial sensors
- 100-ball BGA package, temperature range from -40°C to +105°C
