Product Overview
ADIS16475 is a precision, miniature MEMS inertial measurement unit (IMU) that includes a triaxial gyroscope and a triaxial accelerometer. Each inertial sensor in the device combines with signal conditioning that optimizes dynamic performance. The factory calibration characterizes each sensor for sensitivity, bias, alignment, linear acceleration (gyroscope bias), and point of percussion (accelerometer location). As a result, each sensor has dynamic compensation formulas that provide accurate sensor measurements over a broad set of conditions. It is used in applications such as navigation, stabilization, and instrumentation, unmanned and autonomous vehicles, smart agriculture and construction machinery, factory/industrial automation, robotics, virtual/augmented reality, internet of moving things.
- Dynamic range is ±500°/sec minimum at (TC = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V)
- Sensitivity is 40LSB/°/sec typical at (TC = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V)
- Angular random walk is 0.15°/√hr typical at (TC = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V)
- Misalignment error is ±0.1° typical at (TC = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V)
- SPI compatible data communications, programmable operation and control
- Automatic and manual bias correction controls
- On demand self test of inertial sensors, on demand self test of flash memory
- Single-supply operation range from 3V to 3.6V, 2000g mechanical shock survivability
- External sync modes: direct, pulse, scaled, and output
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +105°C, package style is 44-ball ball grid array module [BGA]
