Product Overview
ADA4355 is a complete, high performance, current input µModule®. For space savings, the ADA4355 includes all the required active and passive components to realize a complete current to bits data acquisition solution, supporting a small form factor, optical modules as well as multi channel systems. The high speed transimpedance amplifier( TIA) of the device supports 10ns pulse widths, allowing high spatial resolution for Time of Flight (ToF) measurements. Additionally, the ADA4355 includes three TIA gain (TZ) settings to maximize dynamic range. An internal, selectable, analogue low-pass filter (LPF) can limit the device bandwidth with a corner frequency of 100MHz to minimize broadband noise while also serving as an antialiasing filter for the 125MSPS ADC. Typical application includes current to voltage conversion, chemical analysers, mass spectroscopy, time of flight, fibre optic sensing, OTDR, optical amplifiers, reconfigurable optical and add and drop multiplexers(ROADM).

- Internal 1.8V LDO for the ADC- and all passive components including supply decoupling
- Small form factor: 0.47inch x 0.23inch and operation from a single 3.3V supply
- Full -scale input current to 800µA (T Z = 2Kohm), high analogue input current to 40mA
- Fast input overload recovery and analogue filter for noise reduction and antialias filtering
- Supports input pulse widths down to 10ns and low input referred current noise of 16pA rms
- 14bit ADC with sample rate up to 125MSPS features serial LVDS data O/P and SPI control interface
- Quiescent power of 546mW, LDO enabled
- 84 lead CSPBGA package
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
