AD977A is a high speed, low power 16bit A/D converter. It operates from a single 5V supply. Each part contains a successive approximation, switched capacitor ADC, an internal 2.5V reference, and a high speed serial interface. The ADC is factory calibrated to minimize all linearity errors. It is comprehensively tested for ac parameters such as SNR and THD, as well as the more traditional dc parameters of offset, gain and linearity.

- Max INL is ±2.0LSB
- Min S/(N+D) is 85dB
- Power dissipation is 100mW Max
- Power-down mode is 50W
- Unipolar range is 0 V–10V, 0V–5V and 0V–4V
- Bipolar range is 10V, 5V and 3.3V
- High speed serial interface, on-chip clock
- Total harmonic distortion is -96dB max
- Operating temperature is –40°C to +85°C, packaging style is 20-lead SOIC
