Product Overview
AD8639 is a dual wide bandwidth, auto-zero rail-to-rail output operational amplifier. This amplifier has very low offset, drift, and bias current. Operation is fully specified from ±2.5V to ±8V dual supply. It provides benefits previously found only in expensive zero-drift or chopper-stabilized amplifiers. Using the Analog Devices, Inc., topology, these auto-zero amplifiers combine low cost with high accuracy and low noise. No external capacitors are required. In addition, the AD8639 greatly reduce the digital switching noise found in most chopper stabilized amplifiers. With a typical offset voltage of only 3μV, drift of 0.01μV/°C, and noise of 1.2μV p-p, the AD8639 is suited for applications in which error sources cannot be tolerated. Application includes pressure and position sensors, strain gauge amplifiers, medical instrumentation, thermocouple amplifiers, automotive sensors, precision references, precision current sensing.

- 143dB typ power supply rejection ratio (VSY=4.5V to 16V, VO=0.5V to 4.5V, VCM=VSY/2, TA = 25°C)
- 1.5pA typical input bias current (VSY = 5V, VCM = VSY/2, TA = 25°C)
- 1.3mA maximum supply current per amplifier (IO = 0mA, VSY = 5V, VCM = VSY/2, TA = 25°C)
- Input voltage range from -0.1V to +3V (-40°C ≤ TA ≤ +125°C)
- 2.5V/μs typical slew rate (RL = 10Kohm, CL = 20pF, AV = 1, TA = 25°C)
- 1.35MHz typical gain bandwidth product (RL = 2Kohm, CL = 20pF, AV = 1)
- 8 lead MSOP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
