Product Overview

AD8512 is a single channel, precision JFET amplifier. It features low offset voltage, input bias current, input voltage noise, and input current noise. The combination of low offsets, low noise, and very low input bias currents makes this amplifier especially suitable for high impedance sensor amplification and precise current measurements using shunts. The combination of dc precision, low noise, and fast settling time results in superior accuracy in medical instruments, electronic measurement, and automated test equipment. Low noise and distortion, high output current, and excellent speed make this amplifier great choices for audio applications. It is widely used in application such as instrumentation, multipole filters, precision current measurement, photodiode amplifiers, sensors etc.
  • Fast settling time is 0.4μs typ at (to 0.1%, 0V to 4V step, G = +1)
  • Low offset voltage is 0.4mV max, offset voltage drift is 1μV/°C typ
  • Supply current/amplifier is 2mA typ
  • Low input bias current is 25pA typ at VS = ±15 V
  • Dual-supply operation is ±5V to ±15V
  • Low noise is 8nV/√Hz typical at f = 1kHz
  • Low distortion is 0.0005%, slew rate is 20V/μs typ at (RL = 2Kohm)
  • No phase reversal, unity-gain stable
  • Operating temperature range is −40°C to +125°C
  • Package style is 8-lead SOIC-N
