Product Overview
AD8352 is a high performance differential amplifier optimized for RF and IF applications. It achieves better than 80dB SFDR performance at frequencies upto 200MHz, and 65dB beyond 500MHz, making it an ideal driver for high speed 12bit to 16bit analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs). Unlike other wideband differential amplifiers, this device has buffers that isolate the gain setting resistor (RG) from the signal inputs. As a result, this device maintains a constant 3Kohm input resistance for gains of 3dB to 25dB, easing matching and input drive requirements. It has a nominal 100 ohm differential output resistance. This device is optimized for wideband, low distortion performance at frequencies beyond 500MHz. It is widely used in applications such as differential ADC drivers, single-ended-to-differential conversion, RF/IF gain blocks, SAW filter interfacing etc.
- 2500MHz typ -3dB bandwidth, single-supply operation is 3V to 5.5V
- Single resistor and capacitor distortion adjust, low power dissipation is 37mA typ at 5V
- Input resistance is 3Kohm, independent of gain (AV), power-down capability is 5mA at 5V
- Differential or single-ended input to differential output
- Noise spectral density is 2.7nV/√Hz typ at (VS = 5V, RL = 200 ohm)
- Output third-order intercept is 41dB typ at (RL = 200 ohm, f1 = 139.5MHz, f2 = 140.5MHz)
- Slew rate is 9V/ns typ at (RL = 1Kohm, VOUT = 2V step)
- Fast settling and overdrive recovery of
2ns - Fabricated using the high speed XFCB3 SiGe process
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, package style is 16-lead LFCSP
