The PT series from Amphenol Industrial are MIL-DTL-26482 series I equivalent miniature cylindrical connectors. These connectors have 5 keyway polarization with three-point bayonet lock coupling assures positive mating with no chance of cross plugging. Both the insert and main joint gasket are moulded from resilient neoprene insulator. This provides excellent moisture sealing at the gasket and superior electrical isolation of the contact in the insert. Available plating options are anodic coating (alumilite), olive drab chromate over cadmium over nickel, electroless nickel, olive drab zinc, non-conductive black zinc, conductive black zinc and gray zinc nickel plating. These connectors are designed for harsh environments and have well-proven electrical capability to withstand extreme shock, exposure and vibration. The high reliability performance makes PT series connectors ideal for environmental sealing or pressurized applications.
- Environmentally sealed connectors with high density contact arrangements in a circular shell
- Available in 7 shell styles with 60 insert patterns, 6 through 24 shell sizes, 1 to 61 contacts
- Up to 23A current carrying capacity with wire gauges from 24AWG to 12AWG
- 1000VAC (RMS) operating voltage at sea level, 500 cycle minimum mating life per MIL-DTL-26482 3.6.17
- Intermateable, intermountable and interchangeable with all MIL-DTL-26482 connectors
- Aluminium alloy shell and hardware create a rugged connector with minimal weight
- Operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C, insulation resistance of 5000Mohm at 25˚C
- UL recognized (file E115497), resistant to military environments
- Available in variety of service classes and 48hr, 500hr salt spray exposures
- Copper alloy solder pin and socket contacts with gold plating (50µ'' minimum per MIL-G-45204 type I)
