Product Overview
Primer No. 3 primer is a specially formulated primer for use with addition and condensation/moisture curing 1K and 2K RTV silicone sealants and elastomers. This primer imparts good adhesion to most metals, natural and synthetic rubber, polyester and nylon fabrics. It is recommended as a primer for use on non-porous surfaces. In some cases, this product has also been found to act as a barrier to substrates that usually cause inhibition to platinum cure systems.
- Volume is 100ml, dispensing method is container
- Cure profile is 23+/-2°C and 50+/-5% humidity
- Colour is pale yellow
- Density is 0.8g/cm³ (BS ISO 2781)
- Flash point is 43°C (BS 2000-34)
- Odour is solvent
- Storage temperature is 5°C minimum, 30°C maximum
- Shelf life is 12months
