The CR-M3LS Logical socket is an accessory for ABB's CR-M series interface relays. Interface relays connect the electronic control level, e.g. PLC, with the level of the sensors and actuators. They take on various functions: Switching DC or AC voltage loads with different ohmic, inductive and capacitive components, switching in the voltage range from a few mV to 250V, switching in the current range from a few mA to 12A, amplifying weak control signals, electrical isolation of control and load circuits as well as signal multiplication. The CR-M series has 13 different coil voltages with 2-4 changeover contacts. A built-in test button for manual actuation and locking of the output contacts, as well as relay variants with or without built-in LED, can be selected. Two base variants are offered: standard base and logical base. Plug-in function modules such as reverse polarity protection, free-wheeling diode, RC elements or overvoltage protection expand the areas of application of the plug-in miniature relays. Standard and logical sockets for CR-M interface relays are suitable for snap-on mounting onto a DIN rail. Optional function modules for the CR-M range are plugged into both standard and logical sockets.
