Product Overview
EVQ79500FS-Q-00A is a evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MPQ79500FS-AEC1, a 6-channel voltage monitor. The MPQ79500FS-AEC1 is engineered for automotive applications that require voltage rails to be monitored for safety. Each voltage monitor input has configurable over-voltage (OV) and under-voltage (UV) thresholds. Highly accurate high-frequency (HF) and low-frequency (LF) voltage monitoring can detect when the voltage thresholds are reached. Two of the inputs are differential, remote voltage-sense input pairs. The MPQ79500FS-AEC1 can record the order in which voltage rails are sequenced, as well as their associated timestamps. The device also provides a sync I/O function to increase the number of monitored voltage rails. The device is accessible through an I2C interface.
- Designed for ADAS and autonomous driving platforms
- 2.7V to 5.5V input voltage (VIN) range
- 6 voltage monitor inputs: 4 single-ended, 2 differential
- Absolute OV or UV thresholds for high-frequency and low-frequency components
- High DC accuracy:>1V, ±0.5% and <1V, ±5mV
- ADC for voltage-level readback, selectable HPM and LPM
- Power sequence recording for power-on, power-off and sleep entry/exit
- SYNC I/O for multi-device sequence synchronization, write protection for critical registers
- Built-In Self-Testing (BIST), interrupt output pin (fault reporting), CRC protection on registers
- Flexible application with I2C interface: I2C Interface with PEC, OTP memory
