Product Overview
SE2005 2-part silicone is elastomer system specially designed for electronic potting and encapsulation applications. It offers good protection against chemicals, environmental contamination, mechanical shock, vibration and impact damage. It can be employed in areas where low flammability is a prerequisite. This cured elastomer can be repaired. This component parts have relatively low viscosities and are readily mixed either by hand or machine.
- Low viscosity, deep section cure, excellent dielectric properties
- Protects against shock and vibration
- Cure type is condensation
- De-mould time/full cure at 23°C/73°F is 24hours
- Mix ratio by weight is 100:1, weight is 1kg
- Density is 1.2g/cm³ (BS ISO 2781)
- Working temperature is -50°C minimum, 220°C maximum
- Thermal conductivity is 0.24W/mK
- Dielectric strength is <gt/>18kV/mm/0V/mil (ASTM D-149)
- Shelf life is 9months
