AMPSEAL 16 connectors with coaxial terminals are designed to deliver analog signal and digital data transmission within heavy-duty commercial and industrial vehicles. This rugged four-position coaxial connector combines our sealed AMPSEAL 16 housing technology with our robust MATE-AX automotive coax terminals. It meets GMSL2 requirements and provides performance up to 6GHz.
AMPSEAL 16 connectors are designed for off-road, heavy-duty industrial, recreational and agricultural applications. With an operating temperature of up to 150°C, the range is suitable for extended on-engine, after-treatment, and powertrain applications. These connectors are sealed to offer rugged reliability and prevent moisture and dirt from contaminating connections. The connector design can reduce installation time as the receptacle and pin housings come fully assembled in a one-piece design.
Heavy Duty Sealed Connector Series with MATEnet inserts is a rugged, heavy-duty Ethernet connector solution for data and power transmission, ideal for use in harsh conditions. It offers flexibility, as you can implement multiple hybrid interfaces - combining single pair Ethernet plus power and scalability by using unshielded or shielded twisted pair cable. These connectors support 100 Mbps through 1 Gbps speeds and are compliant with industry standard protocol 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1.
The comprehensive range of Timer contacts consists of a flat receptacle (open front-end geometry), which mates with a flat tab in an oblique condition while maintaining a stable contact geometry. The 2-piece receptacle contact design has four contact springs, which are independent of each other allowing for electrical and mechanical properties to be separated and provides a stainless-steel jacket for support and protection during harness assembly and handling, while providing higher contact retention in the housing. Timer connectors are available as receptacle and tab housings for free-hanging coupling in wiring harnesses as well as group connections.
