Product Overview
The TDN 3-4819WI from Tracopower is a TDN 3WI series, 3W DC/DC converter. The TDN 3WI series with 4:1 input voltage range comes in a very compact DIP package (13.2mm x 9.1mm x 10.2mm). It features conducted noise (EN 55022 class A or B with external components), ESD (EN 61000-4-2, air ±8KV, contact ±6KV, pref A), radiated immunity (EN 61000-4-3, 10 V/m, pref A), fast transient / surge (with external input capacitor) (EN 61000-4-4, ±2KV, pref A and EN 61000-4-5, ±1KV pref A), conducted immunity (EN 61000-4-6, 10VRMS, pref A) and magnetic field immunity (EN 61000-4-8, 100A/m continuous, pref A, 1000 A/m 1sec, perf criteria A).
- Input voltage range from 18VDC to 75VDC (48VDC nominal)
- 9VDC output voltage, 333mA maximum output current, 81% typical efficiency
- Input current no load is 14mA typical, maximum surge voltage (1 sec maximum) is 100V
- Reflected ripple current is 20mAp-p typical, ripple and noise (20MHz bandwidth) is 50mVp-p typical
- Ultra compact DIP package (13.2 x 9.1 x 10.2mm), automatic recovery short circuit protection
- Switching frequency is 100KHz minimum (pulse frequency modulation), tinned copper pin material
- Voltage set accuracy is ±1% maximum, temperature coefficient is ±0.02%/K typical, remote on/off
- 50pF maximum isolation capacitance,
1Gohm isolation resistance (at 500VDC) - Non-conducting FR4 (UL 94V-0 rated) casing material, silicone (UL 94V-0 rated) potting material
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C without derating, package weight is 2.7g
