The HYT 271 from IST Innovative Sensor Technology is a Hygrochip digital humidity and temperature module for all general purpose humidity applications. This is a precise, capacitive polymer humidity sensor with the high integration density and functionality of an ASIC. The signal processing integrated in the sensor completely processes the measured data and directly delivers the physical parameters of relative humidity and temperature over the I2C compatible interface as digital values. This module is mechanically robust, chemical resistant and dew formation resistant, the digital humidity sensor with only 10.2mm x 5.1mm x 1.8mm size offers the widest application window and an optimal price performance ratio. The HYT 271 delivers an accuracy of ±1.8 % RH and ±0.2°C and precisely calibrated for sophisticated mass applications, industrial handheld devices and humidity transmitters.
- Temperature measuring range from -40°C to 125°C
- Humidity measuring range from 0%RH to 100%RH
- Operating voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V
- Response time is less than 5s
- Resolution for humidity and temperature is 0.03%RH and 0.015°C respectively
- Long term drift for humidity and temperature is 0.5%RH/a and 0.05K/a respectively
- Excellent humidity/temperature accuracy and stability
- High chemical resistance
- Very stable at high humidity
